Fixed it for you. Palin is only guilty of reiterating McCain’s position on illegal immigration during the 2008 primary. It was not her position, but she had to support it as his VP running mate.

She’s since stated her own positions on illegal immigration, which mirror those of the American public.

You obviously have not seen her Univision interview....where she states “I am for partial Amnesty...not Total Amnesty”

Sarah Palin was John McCain’s running mate when she gave that Univision interview. She stated HIS positions - not hers. That’s what VP running mates do.

Find a recent interview or written statement by Palin on illegal immigration, if you want to get a clue of what her position is.

As I’ve said to everyone who’s claimed that Sarah is soft on illegals, she will soon deliver a complete package of her public policy positions. She’s going to run, so expect this package to follow her announcement.

I’ve heard enough of her thoughts on the subject to know that her formalized stance on it will satisfy the 70% of Americans who want this issue confronted and handled.
