SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KGO) -- A San Leandro man molested an 8-year-girl at a Bay Area Walmart store Monday, the second such attack in less than two weeks.
29-year-old San Leandro resident Carlyle Villazon was arrested Friday after two good Samaritans jumped in to help. Police are calling those men heroes. They are also reluctant heroes. One of them did not want to do television interviews to talk about what happened.
Police say predators know how easy it is for kids to become separated from their parents in large stores and they are warning parents to keep their children close during this busy shopping season.
"I told him. I said, 'Dude, you run, I'm going to knock you out. I'm really going to knock you out. Don't run,'" Dino Rinetti told ABC7.
That was all Rinetti had to say to the man accused of molesting the little girl inside Walmart, that, a few choice words not suitable for TV, and a call to the police.
"I almost punched him, but I said you know I can't. I was fired up. Once I found out he touched the girl, I said you know, I'm going to drop this guy," Rinetti recalled.
It happened at 7:00 Friday evening. The girl wandered away from her mother for a split-second to look for her little brother. She became distracted in the toy aisle and that, police say, is when Villazon snuck up from behind and assaulted her. He ran for the exit and removed his hat and coat as a disguise, but the girl spotted him near the garden department. Her mother screamed. One shopper tackled Villazon. Rinetti was paying at the cash register and heard the commotion.

I think that a certain ignorance of English is now required in order to get work as a reporter. I assume that they were willing heros, but reluctant publicity hounds.
No mention of this creep’s citizenship...but he is Irish, so not an issue....
2 questions:
1. Was this human garbage in the U.S. legally? And
2. Anyone know where I can purchase a bubble, large enough to hold a growing 3 year old? I’ve decided that’s the only way to protect my innocent little baby girl from this sick, jacked-up world the left has created for us.
eggs-ackley
What bothered me in the story, besides the creep that assaulted the child, was the fact that a mother left two of her children to wander the store, the oldest being the 8 year old girl.
Good for these guys.
Too bad it wasn't a good Sammartino...

...Bruno would have put a hurt on this perv.
The reluctant publicity hound may have been wanted somewhere himself.
I’ll jump in.
Just molesting the little girls that Americans won’t molest.
Google “zorb ball”
“The reluctant publicity hound may have been wanted somewhere himself.”
Possibly so. There is a strange honor among thieves about predophiles.
Molestation is unfunny in any context. It also functions poorly used as a subject to express irony.
I have three grown daughters. I taught them (I think I did) to be smart, be aware of their surroundings, right from wrong, and when that fails never fight fair. Screaming, kicking, shouting, punching, scratching (all at the same time preferably), and if the opportunity presents itself a hard knee/kick to the crotch. Not a love tap, but a kick from the 50 yard line through the goal post. And then RUN!
Now watch Walmart get sued by some sleazy lawyer.
could be the person just didn’t want the publicity and getting hassled...I woulnd’t give my name to any reporter for doing a good deed....but thats just me....GG
Why take a chance that you could hurt your hand or something by punching the guy. Just pick up a can of soup, a lawnchair or whatever might be handy and clean his clock.
Dammit I wish we could stop blaming the victims around here. All these holier-than-thou's that "would never let that happen". It's sickening. Message to those folks: *Anyone* can be victimized by a predator. You're not as perfect and invulnerable as you think you are.
