An Army doctor who disobeyed orders to deploy to Afghanistan because he questions Barack Obama's eligibility to be president has pleaded guilty to 1 of 2 charges against him.

At a court-martial proceeding Tuesday in Maryland, Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin of Greeley, Colo., pleaded guilty to not meeting with a superior when ordered to do so and not showing up at Fort Campbell in Kentucky where he was supposed to report.

At the very least of what comes from all of this should be few state laws that presidential candidates prove their Constitutional eligibility before they are put on 2012 state presidential ballots.

Amen, the bamster exploited a technical "flaw" in the law.

What pisses me off are those that have come here and pointed out, and defend him in that regard.

I won't mention names because I won't give them the courtesy of a ping....and I suspect you know whom I'm speaking of anyway.

Are you sure it isn't just folks who disagree with you on this one issue?

Yes I am sure, because I am on it.

" The word that Fukino used was “verifying”. She has seen the vital records VERIFYING that Obama was born in HI. The word “verify” means to swear. There is a record in Hawaii swearing that Obama was born in Hawaii. To PROVE is something totally different, though it’s understandable that the AP would make this mistake. They should correct it though. "

The only thing that they can only " verify " is that they have some kind of documents on Obama and his birth documents.
They may say that he was born in Hawaii, but, have not yet proved it to the public ( a COLB does not count, and the one shown on the Factcheck.com web page is fake )
One thing people, or the Obots keep refusing to consider, or chose to ignore is ? there is a article from a former CIA agent called ( Clearing the smoke of Obama's eligibility ) ... link:
Clearing the Smoke on Obama's eligibility If the Obots and anti-birther were to take the time to read it, that ? yes indeed, there were some provisions in the laws at the time Obama was to suppose to have been born in Hawaii for out of state births and out of this country births to be registered as a Hawaiian birth ( in other words, to appear as a legitimate Hawaiian birth, though it was in fact not a Hawaiian birth )....
Come on Obots, anti-birthers, we challenge you to read that article, perhaps it will open your blinded eyes.

You are still sore because you lost the bet, and were forced by me to donate 200 bucks to FR. Yep, this silly unintelligent housewife with a 4.0 GPA an member of several honor societies and other organizations bested you again.

I can understand your bitterness.

You were asked to explain something in the post below, and you came back with a stack of nonsense with regard to that question.

So, just who is the the person of “limited intelligence”? that would be you James777

Well, I’ve rooted for him too, but he knew the odds were long. And, apparently, getting longer. I would not advise any other officers try it.

BTW, you didn't answer my question, though it was implied and not direct so I'll direct it to you now.

Did you support Wesley Clark and his invasion on Waco, what about the Bonus Army?

I never said that at all, what I have said repeatedly is that it is an officers duty to protect the Constitution and by that reasoning that means even the eligibility of the president under the same Constitution even if it means his life.

I realize that this is a hard concept for most to understand but when congress has failed to act responsibly, and our courts have failed to act legally, and there is a reasoned doubt about this issue, to protect the Constitution is the duty of all officers in our military especially from someone who will eventually be proven to be ineligible and is a foreign subject or citizen of at least two other countries.

That’s not a Coup d’etat at all, it is the sacred duty of commissioned officers, and why they are honor bound by their commissions for life.

United States v. Lakin liveblogging, Day One wrap

By Christopher Mathews, December 14, 2010

The prosecution has now rested and the court-martial is in recess until tomorrow. Some highlights from today:

According to LTC Lakin, his former counsel, Paul Rolf Jensen, told him that although disobeying military orders would be consistent with Lakin’s thinking, he specifically said “I can’t ethically advise you to disobey” those orders.

I never heard of the "Bonus Army".

I suggest you "Google" it, you'll be surprised as you stated "it'll never happen"

As far as I know, Waco has never been invaded.

Evading poignant questions is definitely one of your strong suits....and you wonder why people accuse you of being a troll.....you know damn well what I am referring to.

Maybe you should also check out the video of the National Guard disarming the Citizens of New Orleans after Katrina, the one where the punk kid said he would shoot an American Citizen...the 80 year old lady they took to the ground and disarmed who was subsequently mugged at gun point two days later.......but it'll never happen here.

Will you condemn or support them?
