An Army doctor who disobeyed orders to deploy to Afghanistan because he questions Barack Obama's eligibility to be president has pleaded guilty to 1 of 2 charges against him.
At a court-martial proceeding Tuesday in Maryland, Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin of Greeley, Colo., pleaded guilty to not meeting with a superior when ordered to do so and not showing up at Fort Campbell in Kentucky where he was supposed to report.

You assume we will be given a chance to vote Obama out during the next election...
What are the odds in Vegas, 50/50?
Your son will be hot racking with you in the camps.
I was hoping Watada would get many years in jail, but I don’t get all that I wish for...but what a POS!

Hiding the truth in a trial is a corruption of a fact finding process, no matter who it embarrasses, King or Peon.
Judge Lind may to have answer some difficult question very soon. Embarrassing facts indeed.
That's exactly my thought, but there will be some who oblige...it's happened before.
Waco and Wesley Clark......
Yeah, these post-apocalyptic scenarios are fun.
In two years when Obama is voted out what will you fantasize about then?
Will you be true to your convictions, whack a bunch of high-ranking officers and put yourself in a camp?
Just for spite?
I assume nothing, I see the writing on the wall.
What are the odds in Vegas, 50/50?
Two chances, slim and none.
Because of Clark and Washoe Counties, the whole State of Nevada is being held hostage to libs and unions.
FWIW, I'm a Native So Cal transplant, been here just about ten years now.
While I share your sentiments against a military coup of any sort in this country, I do disagree with your characterization on this thread of Lakin basing his actions on a “conspiracy theory.”
There’s no conspiracy theory involved here. Simply a lack of information that proves that the Constitution is being followed in one of its most basic requirements.
The burden of proof that he is qualified to be president always has rested on Obama. Still does.
And the American people shouldn’t be asked to try and prove a negative.
As to the wisdom of LTC Lakin’s chosen path here, that’s another question entirely.
I don’t see myself living past the day when this country becomes communist or even socialist, like anyone that posts in this forum I see myself as being hunted down and executed or reeducated for believing in Americanism.
Well except for those few snarky trolls that somehow avoid the zot.
To whom? Who would ask her these questions?
I am beginning to think that there is not even one honorable person in position of authority in this nation.
You should point 'em out.
I just hope that this new Congress has the moral fortitude to do the right thing and investigate Barry and how someone born with foreign allegiance can be our President and Commander in Chief. Before we have this conundrum raise again.
Cheers!
At the very least of what comes from all of this should be few state laws that presidential candidates prove their Constitutional eligibility before they are put on 2012 state presidential ballots. A stiff sentence for Lakin is not going to improve Obama’s stance in the eyes of the public that he is eligible to president.
Likely not.
They'll send some other citizen's son, just like in Waco. And...I fear he will obey. ( If past experience predicts the future.)
Very interesting comment regarding LTC Lakin’s response to COL Roberts order to report to his office. Saying to your commanding officer, “You had your chance.” is not going to endear Lakin to the Court Martial panel. I think that it demonstrates that Lakin was determined to pull a political stunt and was willing to do whatever it took to force the military to accomodate him.
I believe someone already has a list.
They have a list. And you’re on it. Cuz you’re an Obot troll.
I'd like to see that list of "snarky trolls who deserve the zot".
Are you sure it isn't just folks who disagree with you on this one issue?
That would be convenient, wouldn't it? Maybe sew a gold six-sided star on their coats first?
Sumbitch.
I should pay more attention to what I sign up for.
That explains the Soros checks though.
