Bringing slaves to this country was a really bad idea.

It seems so in hindsight. Slavery is the original sin of America, it stains our Constitution and we are living with the consequences. We need to deal with it like adults. We should treat people as individuals and judge them by their deeds, not their skin color.

Their deeds are a reflection of their culture. Their culture is a choice.

Certainly slavery was a horrid institution, but if you believe that slavery has anything to do with the current state of blacks in America, you're of the type of mindset that can justify reparations.

I would proffer that the dysfunction in much of the black community is more the result of LBJ's great society than anything else.

*They referring ONLY to those who hate us for not being them. They are no better than those of us who are of that mind set.
