I’ve said for years that “liberalism” can be summed up in the mentality of an 11 yr old girl.
To them, it’s a matter of being “mean” or “nice”.
You’re “mean” if you expect everyone to take care of themselves and their families.
You’re “nice” if you “want to help people in need”.

They don’t think ANY deeper than that.
