Obama is itching to get this puppy passed it is a stimulus.
He wants it because it clearly has more BS funding for dead people and votes for him.
He is the devil himself making America suffer and then slightly letting us maybe eat; then throwing in all of this garbage. HE knows the GOP look like crap if they don’t pass it.

Wow! 64 to 8. Are the rest home for Christmas already? There are a ton of scardy cat Republicans out there somewhere.

The GOP is apparently spending the rest of December desperately Whigging itself into oblivion. It's not even morning and they have not only already lost all respect for any November victories the Tea Party and Indie vote gave them, they are telling the other guys that the sex wasn't that good.

In a nutshell Republicans who vote for this are voting for two years of temporary release from a tax increase in exchange for massively increasing the Federal debt even though Republicans will have the numbers after the lame duck session to pass a much more favorable tax bill that Obama probably won’t have the balls to veto and if he does will damage himself and the Democrats politically whether the economy goes further south or not.

tactical error, it would of been MUCH better to filibuster EVERYTHING until January.

What we need now is a Conservative that will get up and state plainly for the American people that Obama and the Democrats had declared that these tax cuts which were effectively titled as the Bush Economic plan that these same Democrats who chided Bush and blamed these same tax cuts on causing the economic crisis and everything inbetween are nothing but, liars and cheats, who now support the same economic policies that they lied about for these many years.

Please help me understand the following from the US Constitution, Article One:
"Section 7
1: All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills."
How can this bill originate in the Senate?????? Please educate me.

Don't revenue and tax policy bills have to originate in the House? If so, isn't this a backassward process?
