Although this preliminary design shows a 44-cent value, the 2011 Reagan birth centennial
postage stamp will bear a "forever" inscription when issued on Feb. 10, 2011. The stamp
will always be valid for mailing a 1-ounce first-class letter, the U.S. Postal Service said.

So that stamp will say “Ronald Reagan Forever”.
That will make Libs’ heads explode.

That is very cool. As bad as the post office can be. They seem to be very neutral in regards to politics.

Why would we EVER send a letter with any other stamp again!? Stock up!

This will be the only stamp my house will use (except maybe during the Christmas season). Will this stamp be available for a limited time or indefinitely? The Dec 28 release date for the forever stamp is 2010 or 2011?

The stamp should have shown his birth certificate.

I may have to save up a few hundred dollars to buy several hundred of these stamps.
They would be worth it.

I hope they eventually make them into prints rather then just stamps. I would love to have one of those hanging in my home, especialy if it says “Reagan Forever” on it. Proudest 2 Presidential votes of my life were for Ronnie. And thus I became the Republican my great aunt hoped I would grow up to be.

That one is REAL nice - I’d also like to see the “Shining City on a Hill” stamp.

Excellent! Looks like I will be stocking up on these to replace the old liberty bell design.
