1940’s? Is that correct? I first heard it being sung by Fats Domino and he certainly wasn’t singing it in the 40”s.
Russia? Can we trade?
I personally prefer Putin’s cover of Lady GaGa’s “Bad Romance”. I cried.
It was some kind of charity event and there were a whole bunch of Hollywood types there including Kevin Kostner.
The First Secretary is going to sing.
You are to listen and then cheer enthusiastically.
Understood, comrades?
Has he done a cover of “Paparazzi”? That’s my GaGa fave. He’s such a macho man I am having trouble imagining him in a bustier, garter belt and high heels.

You ever see John Kerry cover of Whitney Houston’s “The Greatest Love of All?”
It was published in 1940. I think Fats made it famous but all this happened long before I was even born.
The PM of Canada Stephen Harper is a good and tough conservative plus he plays piano and sings very well. He did a Beatles song at a dinner and was good.
Was it that tedious and repetitive Paully number Let it Be? I forget.
HA!
Move over, obama - you've got serious competition for president of the world.

Do NOT quit your day job, Mr. Putin.
Also: WHO KNEW Putin had a hip back-up band? I think this puts him ahead of Obama in the race to be the coolest.
Fats’ first hit was “The Fatman” in 1949. Seminal material in the evolution from R&B to R&R. Blueberry Hill is from the Fifties.
Correction: Fats’ version is from the Fifties.
