...and I suggest you do the same.
Boehner is faced with either voting for a democrat tax "compromise" bill laden with pork and earmarks on everything from windmills to ethanol production, or throwing it out and starting over. If he votes to support it, he will have not only caved to a lame-duck democrat majority to lose the very first battle of the House, he will have shown the democrats that everything the American people voted for ends on the Capitol steps.
And that is the real issue. With a resounding cry of "ENOUGH!", Americans voted against business as usual in Washington this past month. We're waiting to see if we have to do it again with the next election cycle. If the Boehner-led republicans continue the fat-cat, backroom-deal making that got incummbent RINOs thrown out of office along with the democrat garbage, the republican party is toast.
Call (202) 225-3121 and ask for John Boehner's office to let him know how you feel about his consideration of rolling over in the first inning.
I’m afraid if I call, he’ll start crying.
To address both of your posts, he was sobbing out his support for granting citizenship to illegal aliens who wanted a college education.
Real men cry, they just don’t do it over backdoor amnesty.

To answer your post... He didn’t vote for the DREAM act last week and his office says he has no plans to vote for it if it comes up again. And real men can cry over whatever they want...
LOL! That's a fact!!! Where am I? On a playground?
LLS
It is obvious that the people in his office do not care about our opinions or about offending nice people calling in a calm manner... it is obvious that they are angered by the fact that we had the nerve to call and question their royal mandate.
LLS
LEAVE JOHN BOEHNER ALONE!
Like I said... if you want to believe that Boehner's office is angry because some dare question his royal mandate... I don't have the words to persuade otherwise. That's your opinion and it's a valid one.
Oh, and BTW, I don't have a vidoe. I have a vote. He didn't vote for the DREAM act last week.
The Wailer needs the whole box.
Cue Chrissy Hynde and the Pretenders,
“It’s time for you to stop,
All of your sobbing.”
The disconnect is absolutely undetectable. After a nice male voice, "John Boehner's office", I proceeded with my practiced, synopsized statement of request for no votes at all until we are in power in just a few weeks.I was on for maybe a minute .... hello? ... hello?
I redialed and got the answering machine.
That same tool hung up on me last month--DROPPED the receiver onto the cradle--and I haven't bothered calling again.
The bitter taste in our mouths is the realization Boehner--and McConnell et all--do not want us interfering.
I told our senator and representative of Boehner's arrogance--during one of my one to three calls per week to their offices.
Boehner is a tiny man with an oversized ego.
You are right... his most recent words on video mean nothing... his word means nothing... his actions will speak for themselves. The problem is if we wait for him to cave again... it will be too late to do anything about it. That is the catch22.

“Speaker of the House and other house officials are chosen by the Republican members of the House, in party caucus. There may or may not be a floor ceremony, but the real work is done behind closed doors.
Seniority is very important. Normally, whoever has seniority gets the job, unless they have been caught up in a really MAJOR scandal. Apparently killing American light bulbs is not considered a problem for leading the energy committee, and being the King of Pork is not a problem for leading the Pork Committee.
Problem is, we still dont have an absolute majority of Tea Party folks in congress. And many or most of them are junior, so they dont qualify for business as usual appointments.
We have to keep the pressure on, and if necessary throw a lot more of these guys out in 2012. Either that, or start a new party, as Sarah has said. Either the Republicans see the light, or they will simply have to be replaced, not by some third party but by a new, majority second party that takes their place.
Less than two years to see which way it goes. Reformed GOP, or dead GOP? We cannot wait any longer.”
Seniority through being a traitor? These people need to go!
BTW, his district has not received any "earmarks" since he took office. Not a dime.
I wouldn’t worry about these folks, carton253. They are interpreting the first small step towards sanity ( the midterms) as a mandate. The problem is, (1) Few Republicans are that interested in big changes. (2) Republicans will only have a majority in the House, which means they can only get things done through compromise. They think everything should change because some new Republicans got elected who haven’t even taken office yet. Once the new crop is in, these folks will be calling for their heads within a few months.
Gridlock govt is here. Some will not get used to it or understand it. No big deal.
These folks should be forming a third party. But that would require a lot of work. They’ve got some good ideas. What makes them think Republicans are going to move their conservative agenda forward is beyond me. I learned long ago what to expect from the Republican party and how to work around what it will do.
Listening to Boehner during the last 2 years, I know that he gets it. I just wish some FReepers would wait until he takes office before judging him a failure.

Where did you hear he was going to support the DREAM act? I cannot believe thats true.
