...and I suggest you do the same.
Boehner is faced with either voting for a democrat tax "compromise" bill laden with pork and earmarks on everything from windmills to ethanol production, or throwing it out and starting over. If he votes to support it, he will have not only caved to a lame-duck democrat majority to lose the very first battle of the House, he will have shown the democrats that everything the American people voted for ends on the Capitol steps.
And that is the real issue. With a resounding cry of "ENOUGH!", Americans voted against business as usual in Washington this past month. We're waiting to see if we have to do it again with the next election cycle. If the Boehner-led republicans continue the fat-cat, backroom-deal making that got incummbent RINOs thrown out of office along with the democrat garbage, the republican party is toast.
Call (202) 225-3121 and ask for John Boehner's office to let him know how you feel about his consideration of rolling over in the first inning.
How exactly is the “speaker of the house” chosen, and how soon can we choose a different one?
The next bill I want to see introduced would be one that states no bill will be longer than one sheet of 8 1/2” x 11” paper and typed in 12 font, and that there be no pork in it whatsoever.
You guys are going to make him cry!!!
“How exactly is the speaker of the house chosen, and how soon can we choose a different one?”
I agree we need NEW Blood, I think the voting is done internal among the RINOs and we have NO control over that.
Did you offer John a tissue?
DREAM act!! how about for once worry about Americans? I think this is going to be two years of anger again!
Should be in “breaking news” as far as I’m concerned. There is little that’s more important right now.
Call, people, call! We should have the congressional switchboard in as big of a meltdown as we did during the last amnesty debate.
Boehner needs to man up, quit his crying, quit talking about how brilliant Obama is, quit praising Ted Kennedy as his great friend, quit compromising when he has the winning hand, and start doing that for which the American people gave the Republicans a clear mandate.
After a nice male voice, "John Boehner's office", I proceeded with my practiced, synopsized statement of request for no votes at all until we are in power in just a few weeks.
I was on for maybe a minute .... hello? ... hello?
I redialed and got the answering machine.
Office of the House Republican Leader
H-204 The Capitol
Washington, DC 20515
Phone: (202) 225-4000
Fax: (202) 225-5117
Did you make him cry?
Thanx ... THAT was a better call
I got the same treatment about two hours ago. Rude, hang up by a Boehner staffer who didn’t have the courtesy to give me his name. Call Paul Ryan’s office or Eric Cantor’s office and ask them to give Boehner a message. I know just where Boehner can shove the tax bill. How about you?
Tried calling, no pick-up. The bastards are screwing us again. The ones left in Washington are the ones that caused the Republicans to loose power. They ALL have to go, one way or another.
Sounds like it’s enough to make him cry. Oh, wait....
Every BillBoard in D.C. that faces even symbolically in the direction of the Capitol should be posted with scenes of irate citizens with Pitchforks, Tar, and Feathers. Printed Message optional.
We have to get the point across that we are watching, and that each, and every one of them will become unelected at the first opportunity until Washington D.C. is cleansed of the Leftist Globalist Criminal element that resides in power today.
>> Rude, hang up by a Boehner staffer who didnt have the courtesy to give me his name.
Are you serious?
That’s not good at all.
