Black Conservative Group Launches Petition Drive To Remove RNC Chairman Michael Steele
Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND Action, a national 501 (c) (4) nonprofit organization created to educate, motivate, and rally Americans to greater involvement in the moral and political issues that threaten America, announced today that his group is launching a Michael Steele Must Go! petition drive. Rev. Peterson was one of the first Republicans to publicly call for embattled RNC Chairman Michael Steele to step down last January, citing his financial mismanagement and lack of conservative convictions to lead the committee.
I am encouraging the national committee members to vote Michael Steele out in January, said Rev. Peterson. He added, Steele has shown with words and by his actions that he is a liability to the party. Republicans cannot afford to go into the 2012 presidential election cycle with a weak and potentially corrupt committee head.
The 168-member RNC committee meets in January to vote on whether Steele will remain as leader. Some notable Republican candidates have added their hat into the race. Those in the running include:former Michigan GOP chairman Saul Anuzis; Wisconsin GOP chairman Reince Priebus; former RNC co-chairman Ann Wagner; former Bush administration official Maria Cino; former RNC chairman Mike Duncan; and former RNC political director Gentry Collins, who recently made headlines when he called Steele an exceptionally poor manager of resources and an exceptionally poor fundraiser.
Rev. Peterson said, Im encouraging Republicans around the country to sign our petition and send a message to the voting committee members to get over their fears of being called racists or any other apprehension they have and replace Steele with a qualified conservative Republican.

He’s Dead Jim!!!! Hilarious. How incredibly originally? A wit worry of Oscar Wilde. Boy, that really puts me in my place!!! ROFL/
I haven’t heard of them either! HOpefully in there are some real conservative, American lovin’ men.
This morning I heard a radio nes report that he is being pressured not to run by some in the upper echelons of the republican party, but I did not hear the reporter say that he has decided not to run.
I thought I read that too. It would have been better if the REpubs had the cajones to kick him out though, show some muscle.
Well, start by signing the petition, post #23...then may be get in touch with your own local central committee or whatever.
The same black conservatives that voted 95% for Obama.
Political correctness is a major factor in the demise of America.
We can and must stop accepting on going lists of ideas and words, and people, labels etc., as being politically incorrect thus we yield away rights, monies, accepting the Demise of America.
STOP! STOP NOW!
Think about it.
Steele must go!
It seems I read somewhere that Steele didn’t want to run again anyway, so that makes it easy.
I agree.
Guess what! He’s running again so I’m going to start another thread for those who haven’t signed the petition yet!
Geez. I am so disappointed in this man. I really really liked him.
“Guess what! Hes running again ..”
I wonder why he changed his mind??
BTT!
Apparently he changed his mind.
Who might be the next republican chairman? A CONSERVATIVE ... one that already been conservative in his choices, actions, and votes. Their are few of them.
