You see up there where the banner says

"constitutional conservative activists" ?

I'm one of those. Deal with it.

There is nothing to deal with, you are so deeply hidden from the light of day, that you never say anything.

I see well enough to know a bitter little pile of empty insults when it comes along. Good luck purging the Constitutionalists from the forum. Let me know how that works out for you.

LOL, good luck selling your anti-conservatism here.

Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site, Jim Robinson

JimRob can have my account any time he wants it, and he hasn’t wanted it in 12 years. Do you imagine you’re going to start speaking for him now? Get over yourself.

Don’t wet your pants and start posting more irrelevant nonsense

It was merely a link to an FR thread about freerepublic and conservatism.

100% of our economic problems were caused by immoral and selfish behavior.

The social issues are the rock.

Precisely! To the point. Economic malaise cannot be resolved without moral based solutions.

...You are correct and I was there. As always, we’re going to screw it up because we will never come together on all the social issues.

Actually you people who refuse to consider the social issues are the ones driving the wedge!

BEWARE the RINO-VIRUS

It will kill the Tea Party movement. Morality issues and how we approach right and wrong sets the tone for fiscal responsibility.

"For instance, I see many posters saying that only fiscal conservatism is important, only economic issues, etc. But I never see people on the other side saying only social issues/conservatism is important."

Absolutely correct! : ) Unfortunately, there have been some aggressive and even dishonest attempts by social conservatives, to impose themselves upon the Tea Party movement, however. They aren't alone.

Too be honest, I've spoken with members of GOP PROUD who are conservative on most issues, except conveniently, those related to sex. Unfortunately, their group is mostly about their sexual orientation, a social issue btw, as their name implies. How hypocritical while simultaneously promoting their organization, they author a letter to the GOP, suggesting social issues be placed off the table. If they're truly serious about their stated desire, perhaps they should change the name and purpose of their group, and/or eliminate it entirely.

"Forcing evil on the country by judicial decision is Jack Booted Thuggery. One that is hard to fight back, since judges now seem to be Kings."

Change KINGS to GODS and your statement is thoroughly accurate. : )

Greetings, TAdams! Always nice to “see” you.

A while ago, around the time Coulter was engaged to speak at the GOProud event (and sometimes after too) I posted the official GOProud’s legislative agenda. It’s all “gay” agenda other than a nod to lower taxes (maybe it was just holding the line?) and another mention of the right to bear arms. That’s 2 out of 10, the other were all radical homosexual issues that increase the size of jack booted thuggov! Maybe some of their members are somewhat more conservative on some issues. But the GOProud organization is clearly a “gay” rights group (admittedly so) whose purpose is to turn the Republican party into their creature.

It’s loathesome. They want same sex marriage, homosexuals in the military, intervention in other countries that have “anti-gay” laws, special grants to “gay owned” businesses, etc.

Very dishonest indeed!!

LJ, we agree. You essentially said the same as I in post 170 above, but more eloquently, of course.

I just had to rant a bit.

I just see such hell ahead, TAdams - such danger. It grieves me terribly.

I pray daily many times. I don’t know what else I can personally can besides beseeching God’s mercy and justice (which are not separate) and maintaining my bit of a fight here on FR and a couple of other little places.

I’m not a public person so that’s my extent.
