Are these numbers accurate? I was checking where I live, where friends and family live, etc. Found one County where nearly 6 million went to creating less than 3 jobs. Wow. If they gave me a share of that, I’d work for the next 20 years...

We are reported to get over 5,000,000 dollars in stimulus. Report says 4 jobs were created.

When I last checked, that was about the same ratio for New York State.

Pulaski County Indiana. Over 9.6 million in grants and loans.

Zero ..... jobs created !!!

Wow, lots of stimulus dollars spent and no jobs? Unexpected! Obviously you have some of those nasty GOP types holding your zip "hostage." :-) Or maybe it is just those nasty "rich people" yeah, must be their fault.

I am seriously frightened by the parallels between hussein obama's demonizing of "the rich" and the way the Nazi's demonized the Jewish people. Some very uncomfortable similarities there.

Actually I know where it went. They have redone almost every road in the darn county. You couldn’t even get around town for awhile it was so bad.
But they didn’t have to hire anyone to do it.

I have yet to see any real improvements in my little town.

But, we got some serious cash awarded to Wateree Community Actions to hire folks to do something.

I don’t know what they did.

And neither does Wateree Community Actions.

I see we gave $42,500 to the Lodi Boys and Girls Club. I guess they needed the money, because after they gave $1000 to one of the convicted Lodi terrorists, the service clubs in town no longer give them money.

This club is across the street from the Mosque in a park that only boys are ever seen playing at. The girls are simply not allowed to use the park.

My County Government recieved $5.4M and “created or saved” 12.04 jobs. That’s $450,000 per job.

I think they would have to destroy the livelihoods of 9 taxpayers at $50,000 to fund each job. 9 X $50,000 = $450,000. Or, for 12 Jobs, they had to destroy the livelihoods of 12 x 9 = 82 private sector employees.

Gee, doesn’t seem like such a good deal.
