TLC describes this week's episode as follows:
Sarah welcomes Kate Gosselin and her children to Alaska. To prepare for a camping trip with the kids, Sarah takes Kate to a bear safety class for rifle practice. Then Kate and the kids experience the wilderness braving the challenges of camping in Alaska....lol.
Be that as it may, Sarah Palin tweeted,

Popcorn and pure enjoyment - the Palins, Heaths and 8 plus Kate!
We need more people like you in the world.
Bingo. I hope this episode goes really viral and the reruns get watched big-time.
Just think how different this episode would have been if Jon had been there instead of Kate...
I am watching with you. I missed the 8PM epi, and stayed away from here to avoid spoilers.
I’ve been thinking for a while that Kate Plus 8 will end. It’s possible it could become a Christmas yearly special if the kids want to continue with it. Kate’s last book did very poorly. She was actually an RN and might have to go back to it.
Yes, even the writer at Andrew Breitbart’s BIG HOLLYWOOD suggested to the producer, that Mr. Heath deserves his own show.
A star is born! Seriously!
I over reacted. This was a stroke of genius for Sarah.
Al, VR and onyx were right. I hang my head in shame.
Cheers
Cory.
Denali is most certainly breathtakingly beautiful!
She may be a nice person within the comfort of a plush environment, but seeing how useless she was and what a big whiner she could be in the rugged outdoors (while her children were busy enjoying themselves and having a good time) wasn't pleasant to watch.
Sarah and her family were great. No wonder they all keep fit with so many activities in their life.
Nope. I started watching *before* they were Jon & Kate Plus 8, when they were just the “Raising Sextuplets & Twins” specials in the early oughts! :-)
That's a GOOD point! An excellent point, in fact.
No reason for shame. Just trust nothing from the media. Nothing. The U.S. media is a tragedy and it’s really hurting this country.
No, the children weren’t expelled. Two kids were having behavioral problems stemming from the divorce and the high expectations for learning at the school and after consulting with counselors, teachers, etc., Kate decided to have them homeschooled (they are following the same curriculum as the 6 kids who still attend the school).
Ah heck, get over yourself....LOL.
Piper seems excited to meet the eight kids.
I hope Kate doesn't spoil it.
Hehehe....
He was a lot of the time, but then again, he acted like one of the kids a lot of the time as well. I remember one episode where he was supposed to be watching the kids as they rode their bikes/skated on the street in front of their house—he took off on his rollerblades and left most of them behind alone!! Kate came out of the house and freaked out, rightly so. Not that she’s perfect, but neither was he by any means.
The show needs to end. It’s run its course. Kate is living off her children and the “mother” we witnessed tonight, isn’t suited for a family TV show.
I believe you are correct. I understand that TLC is working on another episode as the adventurous cheerful Kate takes the brood to visit the Obamas in D.C., where everyone gathers in a warm cozy mosque. The highlight, as I understand, is when all the kids play 'find the birth certificate'.
Their dad is of Korean ancestry.
yep, replay comment ... Kate had no eye or ear protection???
