I’ll go camping, too and I want to shoot the guns and pack one too!

If you do, always remember the top 10 "Redneck Gun Safety Rules":

10. Always keep your gun pointed in a safe direction, such as at at hippie or communist.
9. Dumb children may get a hold of your guns and shoot eachother. If your children are dumb, put them up for adoption to protect your guns.
8. No matter how responsible he seems, never give your gun to a monkey.
7. If guns make you nervous, drink a bottle of whiskey before heading to the practice range.
6. When unholstering your weapon, it’s customary to say “Excuse me while I whip this out.”
5. Don’t load your gun unless you are ready to shoot something or are just feeling generally angry.
4. If your gun misfires, never look down the barrel to inspect it. Have someone else do that for you.
3. Never use your gun to pistol whip someone. That could mar the finish.

Chuck Sr should have his own show. That is what some are saying on twitter..I tell ya, Chuck Sr and Piper are the stars of the show. I always look forward to see what Piper will say and do next. Such a beautiful and smart little girl.

I loved Gilligan’s Island..one of the best shows on television. Too bad they don’t show re-runs anymore(At least not here) Always liked Mary-Ann, did not care for Ginger much. I liked “The professor and Mary-Ann” instead of “All the rest” in the theme song

This was good in seeing more of the Alaskan way of life and being able to see Denali again. That is such gorgeous country; certainly not for the faint-hearted. It was not my favorite segment, however.

...Gov. Sarah Palin visited ground zero today, and said that her parents had come to New York after 9/11 to help with the recovery effort. Her parents, Chuck and Sally Heath, worked at Fresh Kills landfill in Staten Island in January and February of 2002 as part of a federal Department of Agriculture program. In a phone interview this evening, Mr. Heath said that he and his wife worked to keep sea gulls and rats from scavenging. Mr. Heath, who is a retired science teacher and is 70 now, and Mrs. Heath, 68, a retired secretary, have worked for the Agriculture Department for the last 15 years. They travel around the world dealing with “nuisance” animals like rats and bears. “A lot of people just didn’t like the job, it was kind of a morbid thing,” he said of the work at the Staten Island landfill. “But I thought it was part of history.” He said they worked alongside detectives and firefighters and enjoyed “rubbing elbows” with them and hearing their stories. While working at Fresh Kills, they stayed in Edison, N.J., about 17 miles away. Mr. Heath said that was the only part of their tour that they did not like, because the traffic was so heavy. “I’m a country boy,” he said.

Anyway, the 11pm rerun is coming on here in the East. I missed the 9pm Kate meltdown, but won't miss it this time.

One thing is for certain...Sarah used this particular episode to demonstrate the stark contrast between the tough, self-reliance of Conservatives and the whiny, self-centered attitudes liberals, most of whom enjoy being miserable like Kate Gosselin.

Watching the end credits, I noted that Sarah is listed as EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, which means that she is the final word on content for each episode. And each episode is meant to convey specific themes about Conservative America and how it compares against liberal la-la land in a real life family situation.

She is indeed a PR genius!
