That’s the best blizzard shot ever!

LOL - here's a shot more appropriate to the thread, though it is from a snowstorm in March of 2008 when I still lived in Ohio. We totalled about 24 inches in 36 hours in that one. If you look closely, you can see the taillights of my car in the garage...

Although we had around 6-8 inches total here in southeastern Tennessee, I'm happy to be away from those big 12+ inch snowstorms that we got in Northern Ohio every year.

My daughter lives in Oak Grove, KY, a suburb of Clarksville, TN. She was visiting last winter, and I was going back with her. We brought a shovel (she doesn’t own one), there had been reports of a big snow storm in her area. It was less than 2 inches. Not worth shoveling.

We all LOL at people in the south when we hear 3 inches shut down the city. And that’s just it, having fun. But we also know, we have the equipment, and are ready every year. Down south, it doesn’t happen frequently, and it’s really not worth the expense to buy plows and equip trucks with salt and the whole nine yards. In a day or two, it’ll just melt. Nature is free, government is EXPENSIVE.

I see your lights. It had to be snowing really heavy. I’ve heard, cameras don’t capture the real extent of a storm.
