TLC and why Palin will never be president -- part 2
Last week I wrote a piece pegged to tonight's TLC pairing of Kate Gosselin and Sarah Palin on Palin's "Alaska" reality TV series.
The core of my commentary was that Palin will never be president because she has sold herself too cheap to low-rent reality-TV venues like TLC, and now she is being perceived as another one of the channel's freak moms like Kate Gosselin or the women on the series "I Didn't Know I was Pregant." As the title so coyly suggests, that shows features women who gave birth and claim they didn't know ther were pregant. You can also now lump Palin in with the twisted stage moms of "Toddlers & Tiaras," a show that sexualizes little girls, and the women of "Sister Wives," TLC's celebration of polygamy.

Palin has been reduced to the level of Gosselin by allowing herself to become part of the debased TLC stable of "stars."
Was it really worth a million dollars for Palin to allow herself to be associated with the rest of the folks on this freak show reality-TV channel? Either way, this is the kind of thing that will keep her from ever being president.
Yes,Sarah, Ronald Reagan did have a TV career, too. But it was never with bottom-feeding programs like this.

Personally think they should add a ninth program with just the Heath-Palin men featured. IIRC dad once ran the Boston Maraton and of course Todd has won the Iron Dog four times. A few shots of Track in uniform for the younger set with pictures of dad and hubby should give us enough pictures for a calandar ;~).... Nothing sexy, just manly..... Poor feminist would go bonkers!

I’ve seen a lot of people wishing that Sarah’s dad had his own show, as well as Todd! :-) Others would like to learn more about Sue Aikens, the lady they visited while hunting, who sewed her own head up after a bear attack! Yikes!

Right now, I lean toward "brilliant", filed under "going where the votes are".

LOL. Sarah Palin’s future endeavors are not for you to decide, but of course you know that and you also know that you will have no impact on her whatsoever, despite the fact that you have made trying to take her down, your full time job.
My only two questions, who’s paying you? Romney? Barbour? Huckabee? Not Ginghrich?

These people are like bedbugs...they hide in the nooks and crannies and seams of FR and weeding them out is next to impossible. No matter how many times JR warns them, they just keep crawling back to do Romney's dirty work.

Yes, earl is the Anti-FReeper. It didn’t take long for folks to figure this guy out.
It is beyond the pale to compare this 1/2 term governor with the greatest president of the 20th century. If she completes two successful terms, resurrects the free-market economy, and re-establishes American superiority, then we’ll have something to compare. Right now, she’s accomplished less than 49 other governors.

I have repeatedly stated that if Romney get the nomination, I am definitely voting 3rd Party.
