Agreed, why this—the redistribution of American wealth— is not the main story and “the” story that is talked about every where, far and wide, I just don’t know.
...which explains the absence of protests at the US for causing the worldwide econ crisis. I had fully expected Europe to be blaming US left and right, backwards and forwards for months on end.
But nary a word. We'd already bought their silence. Confirmation of the bailouts.
It was not surprising but ever-so-disappointing to hear supposed new tea-party/congressional star Kristi Noem go on about the important stimulative effects of ethanol subsidies.
Merry Christmas to you bray and everyone at FR.
Amazing! I can’t put it all together,just don’t have a socialist mindset.
You are so right!!!
It’s the con of our lifetime and the complicit news media and print press go right along with it.
Shame on all, but Glenn Beck, Rush and anyone else? Ron Paul, or is he too busy voting for earmarks?
This is such an outrage, I can’t stand it. The entire “tax deal” has to be filibustered or voted down. It’s already a Chrsitmas Tree! Corporate tax rates are the second highest in the world and these Marxists in power are inflating the dollar by at minimum of 3 Trillion as I’m typing.
We are going to see screw ups in Congress, its inevitable. They will never end. Holding them accountable is our job. We need to blast them every time they fail.
Merry Christmas, bray. You did make me sick a little reading your piece, but only because you told the truth.
Can the ethanol boondogle be any stupider? I don’t know how. Plus it’s bad for engines, so my daughter’s mechanic told her. You can’t always believe a mechanic, but I believe that one.
Our path is so simple, the Constitution. Yet we can’t seem to follow it.

Kristol applauds the GOP ‘deal’/compromise with Obama on taxes. Kristol defends the Republicans by saying that Obama is the president and that carries a lot of weight.
[GOP can compromise quicker than they can show a spine.]
I have to shut-off MTP, (I think). Weiner is on the panel. Can you believe it? He is a punk, liar, butt-rude, and completely block-headed.
Where was the authorization to spend all the resources of the US bailing out the world?
Panel now discussing the Obama bugout from his own press coference, played the clip.
Van Hollen trying to sell the idea that the death tax will affect “only 6600 families.” Well, I say that confiscating up to one-half of the wealth of a family because it was saved by a parent, and not squandered, is theft. Van Hollen is promoting theft because the govt would “only” be affecting 6600 families.
I also call it profiling and discrimination, (and any other favorite ‘progressive’ words that I can’t think of right now.)
I can’t take the Weiner either, he’s just a bit too much. His side is all but irrelevant and he cant stand it!!
No authorizations whatsoever, save for the membership in the IMF. New World Order. It’s such an outrage. Like you said, back to “our” Constitution. It’s that simple and that clear, clearly.
Billions and Trillions were at one time just abstract numbers.
LOL. Weiner is a true symbol of his party: jackass. All this preening about obama ‘reaching across the aisle.” Nonsense. I read an article that said, “The [idiot] GOP folded a Royal Flush. They should have announced, “The democrats haven’t passed a budget. They need to do that first.”
