Tearful Amanda Knox today insisted she was innocent of the murder of Meredith Kercher and that an "enormous mistake" was being made by keeping her in jail at the start of her appeal hearing.
Knox, 23, broke down several times as she addressed the court for almost twenty minutes in an emotional and quivering voice, as she stressed she had nothing to do with Meredith's brutal murder.

Why would they have anything to do with him at all, much less commit a senseless murder/rape with him?
A lone rapist/murderer is a far more likely scenario, but that wouldn't make world headlines and let the French exercise their hatred of Americans.
Well I don’t know about the French, but this happened in Italy. Anyway, she can try for an appeal but I don’t think she will get it.
They're both Muslim countries now, so there really isn't any difference between the two.
When one gets caught in a lie trying to frame an innocent man, that person shouldn’t be surprised when her next story is viewed as less than credible.

I don't know if she committed the crime; but the reported circumstances were pretty bizarre.

I believe they caught her lying on several occasions- including blaming her boss and also giving a bogus alibi. The only difference in her appeal appears to be she’s assumed a different personality. Much more tearful and considerate of the victim. This little lady strikes me as a cold-hearted psychopath.

It looks like we have more Muslims in America except for France.

If you believe so strongly in her innocence, you may want to write the Italian prosecutor and judge and offer your home as Amanda’s place of house arrest.
She can stay in that spare bedroom, or on your couch.
And I’m sure you will sleep much better knowing that Amanda is out of that Italian prison and in the safety and security of your home.

Translations shouldnt be an issue here. Italian is a well known language, and if we had a deeply flawed understanding of the basic facts, it would have been widely known by now.

I haven’t seen the slightest indication of her true innocence. But i do seee her cell phone “go black” at the time of the crime. But i have seen numerous well-documented instances of her selfishness, callousness, and indifference. Becoming at least temporarily immune to female tears is the path to understanding this chick.
