He vows to continue until he can't speak. Pleas for Dems to rise up.

There sure are a lot of meatheads in Vermont to send a bird like this to the Senate.

Too many Bay Staters must have moved up there and ruined everything.

Workers of the World Unite!

There is a reason the Socialists targeted Vermont. It has the second smallest population. But how much damage have they done!

Go Bernie, If you can close out the session and prevent the Libtards from doing any more damage, you will have done America a service for the first time in your miserable life.
Next year the Congress and the TOTUS can meet on a far more level ground.

FWIW, Sanders is standing up (literally and figuratively) for his beliefs.

Why didn’t any of our Senators do this during the health care debate?

I’m not sure a filibuster would have done any good - but it would have showed our side was really committed to stopping a vote.

This should be fun to watch. The Communist ruining Christmas for everyone.

Probably a good time for a tv commercial from real Americans reminding us why the communists were thrown out of office.

Maybe a GOP member will have the same guts if Hairy Reid tried to push The Dream Act next week.

I think all filibusters should be REQUIRED to be real, true, ‘speaking’ filibusters, no matter which side is doing the filibustering.

This ‘new-age’ business of “We announce a filibuster; Okay, then we stipulate that a filibuster is occurring” is a farce, in my opinion.

Go, Bernie, go.

This lame duck session is a takeover robbery in progress.

Run out the clock on this heist, B!

It’s all for show, symbolism over substance. Watch the Dems put so much pork in this bill that the Reps vote it down. Then the Dems can say that the mean old Reps don’t want middle class tax cuts. Even though this is no tax cut, just leaves the rates the same for two years.

Maybe some Repubs might have the guts to actually filibuster something.

Good. Maybe it will finally kill off the crazy old S.O.B. if he has to stand in the well of the Senate for days on nd. Can we please give Vermont to Canada for electing this deranged geriatric Marxist loon?

Vermont is overrun with rich New Yorkers, California dopers and Bay State lesbians who went to college there or bought vacation homes and moved in. The native-born population is now a minority. Same thing has happened here in New Hampshire, with a big difference: many newcomers actually liked less government and low taxes, and thus we are now the only Republican-controlled state left in New England. Sad thing for Vermont, though: it is a beautiful state.

This tax deal started out being barely palatable and it has morphed into a spending monstrosity with ethanol bailouts and other such nonsensical pork. Just wait until the House gets through adding all their sweeteners. I just emailed my Senators urging them to vote against it and vote on a clean bill after the first of the year.
