The main incentive is, that wherever you go, you won’t be in Detroit anymore!

to relocate from neighborhoods that they want to tear down and turn back into “greenspace” to neighborhoods that are going to be part of the new Approved Socialist Collective.
You don’t really need incentives to get people to move OUT of Detroit.

To “cluster” the remaining half of the population into a handful of desireable neighborhoods. In other words, shove the feral pop into the holdhout healthy areas.
The death of a city due to stupid policy from stupid politicians elevated by a stupid population.

Relocate them to ObamaVille aka Chicago.
Wild animals are starting to reclaim parts of Detroit. Animals are preferable to feral humans.

To relocate IN, or relocate OUT?To relocate WITHIN, I think. Rearranging the deck chairs?
I guess they want a number of little clusters of folks. Build a wall around it, and they might come.

They need an incentive?? Detroit is fascinating, really. It remains the great untold story, a great scandal far worse than Katrina, and totally mad-made at that. It ought to be national disgrace, but instead it simply isn't discussed.
Yeah, it's reported on, like here. But it ought to be a national story. Detroit should be intolerable to Americans. Or not.

The City of Camden, NJ thinks Detroit is “acting stupidly.”

I last visited Detroit in 1979. Even then it was a piss-hole of dirt, noise, violent crime, and drugs. Just leaving my hotel was an adventure into failed liberalism. Detroit is dead, its heart kept beating only by Lib machine crime.

I don’t know Detroit very well at all. I only know what I’ve read about here on FR.
Are there actaully some desireable or respectable neighborhoods in Detroit? I thought the entire city was pretty much a wasteland - except for the downtown area.

Detroit is fascinating, really.It is...
It's a metaphor for a happy, young model with fame and fortune only to become a bitter, ugly crack-addicted whore and thief who commits suicide.
To: Nachum
This will only drag down and ruin the good neighborhoods these folks are transferred to.

"I think there's going to be a huge amount of tension," Millard said. "(But) once they are settled into their new locations, the people are just so happy." Should be said with a German accent, I think.

The only way to shut a liberal up is to say one has EMPIRICAL PROOF their policies are a disaster, using controlled experiments.
East Berlin:West Berlin; North Korea:South Korea; pre-1997 Hong Kong:China...and now Detroit:Anywhere else.
