When Miley Cyrus says she “can’t be tamed” she means it! According to TMZ, new video shows the newly 18-year-old singer taking hits from a bong that sources say was filled with salvia.

This stuff isn’t illegal, right? So, why is this a big story?
Well, any new material has been banned here for a couple of years as well, but the early shows were fine, the kids enjoy them, and I have no rational reason to ban them. The kids have no desire to see the recent performances or productions.
In fact, I remember reading somewhere a comment by an exorcist who thought that this dimensional door kind of hallucinogen could lead to the kind of trouble he specializes in. Kids embark on a quest to see God and they end up bumping into someone malevolent.;-)
Yeah, and you can get the same effect as smoking Jimson Weed or Belladonna by smoking tomato or potato plants or any other member of the Nightshade family.
If somebody tells Miley that the reason it’s called “Belladonna” is because upper-class ladies in the Middle Ages used it to dilate their pupils (the Liv Tyler “beauty” effect) and that the reason it was dilating their pupils is because it was turning their minds into oatmeal, she will probably try to OD on it.
Billy Ray would have a lot more of his daughter’s money to go through if he would just cut to the chase: buy her a surfboard, a .357 magnum, and teach how to blow her brains out offshore while hangin’ ten. Never said it was a big story to me. Just it is something parents need to be aware of (always the last to know). Miley influences her fans whether she plans it that way or not.

My daughter did some dome things when she was a kid, I did dumb things when I was a kid we all do. I just don’t see the need to badmouth her or decide she is a lost cause at this point. Kids are kids and they always have and always will do things parents don’t agree with. I just think it’s not my place to judge her since that whole “he without sin cast the first stone” thing comes to mind.
