It is just Liam being gooshy again. He is a talented and gifted actor, but a political dolt. I will watch the movie, his PC posturing notwithstanding.

Doesnt the estate of CS Lewis have any say in how his characters are portrayed? read the entre article... what the idiotic actor is saying doesn't have anything to do with how the film was made... it's just his uninformed opinion...

"... with all the fabulous roles, and all the fabulous dialog, that Liam has been privileged to play and speak, none of it sinks in. He had some fabulous speeches in LOTR ..."
Not meaning to be confrontational, but what role did Liam Nielsson play in LOTR?

Probably. But estates and trusts tend to end up in the hands of gray men with gray ideas and gray morals.

So Neeson the actor and some of the others involved in the film are ignorant fools who can’t see or admit what should be patently obvious? What is new? We are talking about Hollywood! Personally, I am going to enjoy the movie!

“Dawn Treader” producer Mark Johnson agrees with the, shall we say, more inclusive analysis from Neeson, telling The Hollywood Reporter that “resurrection exists in so many different religions in one form or another, so it’s hardly exclusively Christian.”
Really? Like which ones? Reincarnation is not the same as resurrection. Chesterton, in “The Everlasting Man”, knocks this out of the park when he says that’s the specific and exquisite difference between Christianity and every other religion: God became Man, died and rose again. No other major religious figure ever even CLAIMED to be God.

Someone should inform Liam that if Aslan represents Mohammed then he is going to get a Fatwah against him for portraying an image of Mohammed.

Liam Neeson must be trying out for the role of Shift the ape if The Last Battle is ever filmed. He's looking to be the spokesman for Tashlan.

What does Neeson Know?
He only buried his wife in a Christian ceremony and mouthed all those words about believing in Christ and the resurrection that he really really doesn’t believe in his heart
People who do this are sad or hypocrites or both

I’ve actually seen libs say that Orwell’s 1984 applied equally well to capitalism in the US. In fact, the 60th anniversary edition includes an essay to that effect by Erich Fromm...

Pity they got an idiot to be Aslan’s seiyuu. Neeson has a nice voice and delivers lines well, so I guess that’s really all they wanted. Couldn’t they keep him away from the press?

"Aslan symbolizes a Christlike figure, but he also symbolizes for me Mohammed, Buddha and all the great spiritual leaders and prophets over the centuries," Neeson said. I haven't read the book or seen the movie. Does Aslan also marry prepubescent lion cubs and encourage other lions to kill those who don't like lions?
