Yes, the Mormon Church actively supported Proposition 8, the declaration that marriage is one man/one woman only, during the 2008 election and were viciously attacked by “rainbow” demonstrators after it passed!!

Most do not serve, and it is not encouraged. It is even frowned upon, and the young ladies are literally taught to marry only returned missionaries. Conference talks are given constantly preachign that only Missionaries are "full members" in the church.

I know this first hand, I served honorably in the Marine Corps, and did not go on a mission. I found out the LDS fraud, saw the wolves come out from under the sheep's clothing and have been snarled at since.

I have a duty to share what I know, and to protect others from what I suffered...and in this instance, the church that claims to be to sole contact with an unchanging God here on earth is trying to destroy the military that they don't (for the most part) serve in throguh a senator that opposed lds standards constantly.
