This is not a knock against you, VRWCmember. I have a really stick up my you know what about using the term 'low income taxpayers'. Yes, while a few at the very top of that bracket pay some taxes, the vast majority pay absolutely zero. I also don't like using the terms lower, middle, and upper because it's often used to breed class warfare and class racism.
My point is that in their determined zeal to punish the evil upper income (those with household income > $250K) the house democrats are throwing all the rest of the taxpayers (i.e. those with income <$250K) under the bus.
