Yep. I’d bet dollars to doughnuts that if TLC showed some of Sarah’s Inuit neighbors hunting caribou and clubbing fish, he wouldn’t say he found it disgusting at all. Probably he’d be all in favor of celebrating traditional native customs.

Anyone who eats meat or fish and then complains about hunting and fishing is a hypocrite. Animals killed by hunters live free and in the wild until their last moments—quite a better life than commercially-raised animals.

She may not give a damn, thinking that if people won't or don't vote for her because she and her husband live like actual Alaskans then so be it. It's the truth and it's who they are. Which do you prefer, someone whose actions and life are based on a calculation of what "sells" or someone who lives their life and isn't afraid to offend the hypocrites dining on factory made filet mignon in a Manhattan bistro? There are plenty of the former in the Republican Party to choose from, but so far there's only one Sarah Palin.

Some of Reagan's greatest opposition was within his own party, sometimes within his own advisory group. "The counsels of war breed timidity." I loved Reagan and I love Palin. They're both tried, true, and tough.

Apparently, the combination that makes up a Reagan is rare. It's been thirty years since I seen anyone close. Sarah's the first one since Reagan to impress me with the same combination of likeability, communication ability, and no-nonsense true conservatism and love for America.

Here’s the thing: Some conservatives (like me) may not like the hunting and fishing part either but realize that people are multi-dimentional and don’t hate them for their differences. Liberals are showing more and more all the time how intolerant and judgmental they really are. It’s not a pretty picture, libs.

There are more people that hunt or are related to those that do than there are hyper-vegans or hunting boo-hooers. In order to eat meat an animal must die. That's how the Man set the rules and them’s the breaks.

I was a professional fisherman for awhile. Part of my job on the boat was to take a sawed-off baseball bat and smack 100-pound halibuts on the nose to kill them once we landed them on deck. Then I gutted and cleaned them and tossed them into the hold where another deckhand iced them down. Anybody who imagines that hunting and fishing and slaughtering animals for food is anything but bloody butchery is living in fantasy land. And they can all become vegetarians like Hitler.

If wusses like this are now in the majority in America, I fear for the future of this country.
