VIDEO: Christine O'Donnell analyzes and explains her own Senate race in Delaware in speech
Northern Virginia Tea Party, 2nd Annual Banquet ^ | December 7, 2010 | Christine O'Donnell

With all of the debate about the 2010 US Senate race in Delaware, the candidate herself, Christine O'Donnell, provided her own analysis of her own US Senate race in 2010.

The video of O'Donnell's analysis is available for viewing on-line at:

Christine O'Donnell addressed questions about whether the tea party got behind flawed candidates, and attempts to discredit the tea party generally.

The following excerpt (5 minutes) is from Christine O'Donnell's speech to the Second Annual Banquet of the Northern Virginia Tea Party on December 7.

Christine O'Donnell drew an overflow crowd of 250 guests, the maximum number the restaurant could handle in the ballroom as configured.

Originally, Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli was scheduled months ago, but had to cancel on November 18 due to a conflict with his official duties and responsibilities. Christine O'Donnell agreed to cover for Ken Cuccinelli as a personal favor to her 2008 primary campaign manager Jon Moseley and Northern Virginia Tea Party founder Ron Wilcox, a long-time conservative activist who has networked with O'Donnell on issues over the years.

I can’t get to the sight - server problems. Can someone let me know if, at any time during her presentation, did she use finger-paints or sock-puppets?

Well, Mike Castle just rounded out his leftist record in the House by voting for the Dream Act. And whatever Christine O’Donnell has to say about her disappointing defeat now, it was mainly the Delaware Republican Establishment and the National Republican Establishment, as represented by self-servers like Karl Rove, who defeated her.

We’re better off with a Democrat than with Mike Castle, who can be relied on to vote with the Democrats on critical votes anyway.

Meanwhile if there are any conservatives left in Delaware, they have two years left to broom out the Republican stooges who run the party there.

Delaware residents in majority prefer the little balded marxist Coons as their Senator rather than the pretty, conservative and doing right by the people O’Donnell.
So be it Delaware and enjoy your new ‘Rat in DC crapping on you again.

The video being downloaded is 113 megabytes. So it is probably just slow as a download. I will get it up on You Tube.

Yeah, after what she said yesterday about Elizabeth Edwards

BUSTED: Mindless liberal attack machine in operation.

I introduced Christine O'Donnell at the Dec. 7 dinner, and heard everything she said.

At the start of her remarks on December 7, at the Northern Virginia Tea Party, Christine O'Donnell mentioned the loss of Elizabeth Edwards as a tragedy.

QUOTE: Right before we got here, I don't know if you heard it on the news, Elizabeth Edwards passed away. So if we could just remember that family in your prayers. She was a fine woman. And so just have to take an opportunity, just to remember to pray for that family as they are mourning her loss. UNQUOTE

will this woman go away?

Answer: NO. Like Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln, who lost MANY elections before they eventually won, Christine is only just getting started. Get used to it. Time to get on board, because she is never, ever, ever going away. You can close ranks like the Democrats do and form a team coopearting together or you can be stupid and destructive. But you will have to come to terms with Christine O'Donnell being a leader of the Republican party for decades to come.

I have come to terms with her being a loser for the Republican party for years and years, how did she go from being a loser to a leader?

Here is a clue for the clueless. Bill Mahr did not hand select her to be on HIS show because she was a credible spokeswoman for the cause; but because she was apt to say outlandish things that he and his liberal audience could have a good laugh at.

This shameless self promoter has the left salivating at the prospects of getting her on camera again and again!

She will be a conservative “leader” much in the mold of Buchanan, a convenient target paid by the left to be watched by the left in order to discredit conservatism.

Well, Vendome, you obviously don’t know what it was, so why are you upset about something when you don’t even know what it was?

Christine said nothing negative about Elizabeth Edwards. She asked for people to pray for the Edwards family.

So you are obviously a member of the herd, sheeple, simply acting on emotion without knowing why.

how did she go from being a loser to a leader?

How did Abraham Lincoln, the founder of our Party, go from being A PERENNIAL CANDIDATE -- A CONSISTENT LOSER -- to President of the United States?

When you start to use logic and an awareness of political history, we might start to listen to you.

Moseley: Stop talking like that. You've seen my posts before and I very much supported her in word and to the tune of $145 bucks for her campaign. But let me ask you if she didn't say this:
"Tragedy comes in threes," O'Donnell said. "Pearl Harbor, Elizabeth Edwards's passing and Barack Obama's announcement of extending the tax cuts, which is good, but also extending the unemployment benefits."

None of these are like each other and one of them is wholly inappropriate.

But hey, if you agree with that statement, more power to you as well pity.

Logic how a candidate who outspent her opponent 2:1 and lost by 16% is ACTUALLY a highly electable candidate and should be a leader?

Logic like how a paid punching bag for Bill Mahr is ACTUALLY a highly credible spokesman and leader for conservatism?

This woman is a shameless self promoter who has no record of accomplishments worth boasting about in education (despite her mischaracterizations), entrepreneurship (other than shameless self-promotion), or elsewhere.

Hitch your wagon to that horse if you want to, but she ain't leading ME anywhere. Those that most want to make C.O'D. out to be a leader seem to be those on the left, who just cannot get enough of her. But no problem for them, she will go on any and all shows, no matter how bad it makes conservatism look, as long as they pay her.

What Christine said about Elizabeth Edwards is:

QUOTE: Right before we got here, I don't know if you heard it on the news, Elizabeth Edwards passed away. So if we could just remember that family in your prayers. She was a fine woman. You wanted Elizabeth Edwards to die?

Here is what Christine actually said. I was there.

QUOTE:

"The reason I say this is a tragedy is because his announcement today for economic recovery is more of a potpourri of sound bytes. It's like he took a little bit of what each party wanted and put it together. It's not constructive, it's not a solid plan constructed on sound economic principles."

"He is taking piecemeal parts of the full plan -- which you could say is cut squared -- tax cuts and spending cuts. So it's not going to work. He's going to say, see I catered to the Republicans but it didn't work. It didn't work because your plan is a result of the spin-doctors' chop shop. FRANKENOMICS if you will. You know, I mean Frankenstein, not Franken the comedian turned Senator, although both are applicable here."

"But what Barack Obama is doing -- by doing this piecemeal of potpouri of sound bites, instead of implementing a solid, well- thought out economic plan for recovery based on free-market principles -- what he is doing is not only collapsing our nation economically but he's weakening our collective character as a whole. He is weakening the collective character that defines us as a country, that defines us Americans."

UNQUOTE

O'Donnell later explained further that Obama and the Congress needed to cut spending in order to pay for the extension of unemployment benefits:

"If we're going to extend the jobless benefits we have got to cut spending programs and that's the flaw in his announcement," O'Donnell said. "That's the tragedy."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So tell us what part of that you disagree with?
