They always leave that last part out, don’t they? I guess it isn’t acceptable to expect other countries to contribute to their own well being.

We can? JFK was not an “ardent Catholic” in my opinion. Many dems were prolife, I doubt if it was an effect of their faith, I just think common sense was perhaps more prevalent back then whether their religion confirmed the unborn being people or not.

We don't know he was pro-life, Catholics are not particularly so, and I never understood how he is a war hero, I believe more along the lines that the Navy considered charges, aside from that what did he do, swim, how was he unique among the crew?
You are feeding the myth that the man that stole the election from Nixon which was probably the single most destructive act in American history was good for America.
We could have survived Roosevelt, but we did not survive the JFK/Johnson years, that 1965 immigration act that JFK wanted passed was the end.

Sorry to disagree, but “ardent Roman Catholics” do not cheat on their wives. As for abortion Judith Exner, who claimed to have been his mistress, said he asked her if Sam Giancana would help her arrange to have an illegal abortion when she told him she was carrying his baby.
