Berkeley may pass resolution honoring Army private who gave classified docs to Wikileaks
America's nuttiest city is at it again:
The Berkeley City Council will consider a resolution that would declare the Army private suspected of leaking classified information to WikiLeaks a hero and call for his release.
The council plans a vote Tuesday on the resolution in support of Pfc. Bradley Manning, who is being held in a military brig in Virginia. A city commission already has approved it.
Bob Meola, who authored the resolution, tells the San Francisco Chronicle that Manning is a patriot who deserves a medal.

Does it really surprise anyone that a collective of rudderless, subversive faggots want to canonize one of their own for
performing as one of their own? I'd call for a boycott of anything produced and exported by Bezerkeley, but I've already made it a point not to contract AIDS.
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

Bob Meola, who authored the resolution, tells the San Francisco Chronicle that Manning is a patriot who deserves a medal. Meola, as with all on the far left, has just no idea how good of a life he currently enjoys in this free and prosperous country; and likewise...
...he is without a clue as to the hopeless misery and despair that will be his new fate if (when) he and his comrades ever change us into the collectivist workers' paradise that they seek.

Joking aside, it is curious the Chonicle fails to mention who Meola is - look it up - he is a friend of William Ayres, and a former Michigan SDS'er (now MDS, "Movement for a Democratic Society") and obviously has an inflated view of his 60's radical self. He frequents the Berkeley Council as some sort of "Peace and Justice Commissioner" and has been noticed on freerepublic before.
Meola is a sign of the passing times and characteristically is rising to the Obama cause now. Get a real sense of how over the top he is from these youtube videos.
