If you want my theory, it will be Dan Mullen that will be the new Head Coach, he gets some HC experience at Mississippi State, and now he can come back to Gainesville. He was an excellent recruiter while he was here.

Dan Mullen would do well there. I think if Cam Newton had taken the lesser money to play at Mississippi State that Mississippi State may have been the team headed to Glendale. I’m sure that Auburn wouldn’t have had a shot without Cam. I think Florida would have been in the mix, too, with Cam. Of course, Florida learned Cam’s ways early on and were probably glad to be rid of him.

For Mississippi State’s sake, I hope that Dan Mullen stays put, but it would be hard to turn down a call from Gainesville.

That would make the most sense. Mullen is a very good coach.

I wonder if they will look at Chizik? I do not think so, as it seems he needs big $$$ for players to win.
