I’m sure all of you remember when the city of Philadelphia, in a botched attempt to arrest militant MOVE members, dropped a bomb on their house. As a result, five children and six adults were killed and 61 homes were burned down!
I was going to mention the Philly fire, but you got here first. The last thing I read about the houses was that there was some hostility in the neighborhood as the bombed out homeowners got ‘beautiful new houses’ and the neighbors were a little jealous. Well, after reading the article you cited, it looks like the houses weren’t so great after all. So now they’re all boarded up? Wow.
I spent 10 yrs in Philly and lived near where Ramona Africa bought another house with her city money. I used to see her in the grocery store. I bet it doesn’t faze her in the least that a whole neighborhood was destroyed in great part because of her actions.
I remember that! They dropped the bomb from a police helicopter! Where did they get the legal authority to launch aerial bombardments?
They wanted to REmove MOVE! LOL.
