Authorities say an individual has been arrested in the Baltimore area for plotting to blow up a military recruitment center.
Marcia Murphy, a spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney's office in Baltimore, confirms to The Associated Press that an arrest has been made and says the individual will appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Baltimore, a man in that city was arrested this morning in connection with a plot to attack an Armed Forces recruitment station in Catonsville, Md., with what he believed to be a vehicle bomb.
There was no actual danger to the public, as the explosives were inert and the suspect had been carefully monitored by law enforcement for months, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

ABC News reported the suspect’s name is Antonio Martinez, who called himself Muhammed Hussain.
No name mentioned in the article. Let me guess.
Catonsville, MD...that’s where the Berrigan brothers poured blood on draft record files.
Ah, the memories.

ROFL. Those beligerent Amish again?
Can't make this stuff up (has CAIR filed charges of "racism" and "brutality" against the FBI yet?)
Not that I’ve heard, but you know it’s coming.
The Catonsville Nine. We still have some very vocal anti-war activists around here.
I’m shocked! Who’d a thunk it?
T&A will probably hire him now and promote him to management.
I'd heard that the man in Portland may not have been a citizen, after all, so this arrest makes me wonder the same about Martinez-Hussain.
Nothing to see here. The “already captured “ media will protect us while protecting the queer Muslim terrorist from being exposed while he awaits a handshake and a Pardon from Eric Holder.
The more things change, the more they remain the same.
Except that back in the 1960s, the President of the United States disapproved of terrorism when Ayers did it. Today, our White House is occupied by someone who approves of bombing recruiting centers. I can't wait to see an American president back in the White House in 2012.
