I had just recently posted a prediction on another thread that the MSM was going to move from framing Palin as stupid (because it is failing) to framing her as mean. Looks like I was right....LOL!

Never having been to a dog fight, I may have missed something, but I don't think dog fights consist of simply a bullet to a vital organ followed by a quick death, nor that they end a dog fight by butchering the losing dog and packing him in the freezer for dinner. Also, I'm guessing that the TV show (which I also missed) did not include an effort to keep Sarah and the caribou going at each other for as long as possible in as bloody as possible a fight. Sorkin is not a terribly good observer if he can't tell the difference between the two events.

The show is basically a commercial for Alaska, and in Alaska you must know how to hunt. You may damn well find yourself in a situation where you may have to hunt to survive. You can say that about anywhere really. No matter what state your in, you should still have to know how to hunt. You never know when you might need to fend for yourself.
Anyway, to sorkin I say, it's just an animal stupid. If you take it down in one shot, it's humane. If you torture them it's another thing. One blow is not torture.
