One interesting development among squishy Senate Republicans. I heard from Sen. McCain’s office yesterday asking me to remove his name from the list of fence-sitters. An aide wrote: McCain has “clearly expressed his opposition to the DREAM Act and will be voting against it when it eventually comes to the floor.”

You can BET passage of this “40 million new votes for democrats” measure was part of the price republicans stupidly paid for extending the Bush tax rates.

Will the children who would be legalized under the DREAM act then be able to use chain immigration to legalize their illegal immigrant parents and siblings who haven't completed the requirements under the act?

Where is DeMint? He said he would fillibuster the tax cut. The Federal Reserve was created on Christmas Eve. Dream Act is another bill to destroy America.

That depends on which of the 5, count ‘em 5, versions that have been introduced prevails, if GOD FORBID, any of them do prevail.

PLEASE PEOPLE - CALL THEM!!!!!!!!!

I’ve called: Collins, Lugar, Snowe (can’t get through), Brownback (was told he’s a no), Menendez (to tell him I hate him), Bennet (to point out this was why he lost and to say I hope he is an example to others), Murkowski (even though I hated doing that.)

If anyone knows of anyone else who really needs a call please post it here.

You can get their numbers very easily.

Here is a link to all of them.

THIS MUST BE STOPPED!

KEEP CALLING!!!!!!!!

I reached one of his Florida offices and read the riot act to the young man who answered. I told him that I promised Alan Boyd I would do everything in my power to get him out of office if he voted for Obamacare and we made it happen. In fact, I supported and worked for Steve Southerland (a former student of mine) and helped him oust Boyd. I promised I would do the same for Senator Nelson...assured him that we think he is doing the wrong thing for our country if he voted for the DREAM (nightmare) Act.

From what I understand, when those children get jobs, they will be able to sponsor any other members of their family.

my fax to Sen. Amy Klobuchuckles:

It is reprehensible that you and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid want to force the DREAM Act amnesty on the American people during the lame duck session of Congress. You need to do the right thing and start thinking about the livelihoods of Americans and legal immigrants who cannot find a job. Once you have done this, I hope you will stand up to Sen. Reid and just say “No” to amnesty! Otherwise, your chances of winning reelection in 2012 will look dim.

With people up to age 34 qualifying, the DREAM Act amnesty will apply to more than just teens, not to mention its fraud-prone “humanitarian” and “family unity” exceptions.

Once DREAM amnesty citizens are over 21 — again, many of those who would qualify for amnesty are already that age or older! — they can bring their immigration law-breaking parents back into the U.S. (or keep them here legally after years of avoiding deportation). The chief criminals will be rewarded after all. And due to chain migration, the amnestied “teens” can petition for their aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents to get permanent U.S. residency as well.

Any attempt by Majority Leader Reid to force this amnesty on the American people during a lame duck session of Congress would be akin to placing a dagger in the back of every one of the 22 million Americans who cannot find a job. It would make it much more difficult for these Americans to find the jobs they desperately need, and it would increase the hardships they and their families face. It would also hurt the many currently unemployed and underemployed legal immigrants and their families.

Please consider doing the right thing and oppose Sen. Reid’s attempts to force the DREAM Act amnesty through Congress. You are both acting as if the November 2nd elections never happened and these anti-American worker, anti-American student actions must be stopped.

"McCain has “clearly expressed his opposition to the DREAM Act and will be voting against it when it eventually comes to the floor.”"

I suspect that RINO McCainiac has already been assured that the are enough votes on "BOTH" sides to pass the DREAM ACT, so he can safely pretend he is against it.

That is his M.O. We've been double-crossed plenty of times before by him and his side-kicks (like Lindsay Graham -SC), so he shouldn't be surprised when we don't believe him now.
