I would like to think that Mr. Edwards is very sad tonight.

I would like to think that Mr. Edwards is very sad tonight. And I would like to think the Republican Party actually had a backbone and took the fight to Obama long enough for the DhimmiRat party to cave so all the Bush Tax Cuts for *everyone* were made permanent.
But neither is likely to happen now is it?

I would like to think that Mr. Edwards is very sad tonight. You'd be overestimating him immensely. He's probably thinking how glad he is that the alimony stopped, and how dashing his own hair looks this evening.
Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

I would like to think that Mr. Edwards is sad every night.
But, he has no moral compass.
