The release by Julian Assange's web site Wikileaks of classified documents reveals that U.S. military intelligence discovered chemical weapons labs, encountered insurgents who were specialists in the creation of toxins, and uncovered weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. However, Washington, DC officials and the news media have ignored this information.

I am hoping for a Wikileaks victory against the web repressors, and for others “anarchists’ to pick up the load.
This is a important battle for freedom, just as the Pirates of Caribbean established the groundwork for a survivable American Revolution, so do these anarchists.
Yesterday I pointed out that the only citizens in uniform to pointedly and publicly refuse to salute Hitler and Mussolini were the Italian anarchists, and their uniforms were prison uniforms. Why didn’t all the other officials refuse ! ! ! ? ? ?
In my house Bush NEVER needed vindicating
Yep. I started floating the theory right after the invasion that the reason any stories of WMD facilities were being spiked was just for that reason. Saddam had over 10,000 weapons depots. The LAST thing we needed was to be in some kind of race with Al Queda to scrounge up some chemical or bio weapons, all spread out allah-knows-where. It seemed logical to me that it was in our best interest to say instead that there were no WMDs. One reason I was so suspicious of this was that it seemed like the announcement of "no WMD's" came out ~awfully~ early... long before we could have actually searched all those thousands of locations. It would meand that Bush would have to fall on his sword and take the personal hit for it, but I do think he would do that if that's what was necessary.
“then what of Al Queda and the rogue insurgents going after it and using it. Could you just imagine every gang in Iraq scavenging the countryside, finding and using....”
This is the explanation that makes the most sense on why the Bush administration did not advertise the WMD finds. Also, it is possible there are still some in Iraq.
Oh, I'm sure he's capable of stealing the info. That generation is fairly adept with respect to computers. I question HOW a PFC was able to obtain security clearance to access the files, AND who put him up to it, AND what was the payoff?

really?? You want a few moments to re-think, and re-state that INCREDIBLY stupid statement??
Agree but eliminating scum works for me... kind of like the Taliban and Al Qaeda commanders.. there seems to be an endless list but we keep pooping them off as well.
Because as long as the Jihadists and their allies were getting positive help from the idea that “Bush lied” and “Intelligence was sexed up” and all of those media statements, they were unlikely to blow all of that positive press by using WMDs. Letting the misinformation stand, letting the enemy get a propaganda advantage out of using the misinformation, helped stop them using the weapons and blowing that advantage.
Better a politician be called a fool or even a liar, than soldiers die because he protected his reputation.
And they knew it would all come out in the end anyway.
You know the left didn’t start hating Assange until he said 9/11 was not a conspiracy. He also said he wasn’t against war. After that they started saying he was CIA some even suggested he was a Republican plant.
He also made the mistake of telling on the Arab’s wanting Iran taken out. The “social democrats” like the rape accusers in Sweden are very much against any war and are angry that Sweden’s had troops in Afghanistan under NATO’s Partnership for Peace program.
I think there is more to this story.
Glen Beck’s take on the accusers brings up the social democrats.

Im constantly annoyed that people are distracted by false conspiracies such as 9/11, when all around we provide evidence of real conspiracies, for war or mass financial fraud, Assange told The Belfast Telegraph in an interview published July 19.

Crisis management continues to be a key task for NATO. Sweden participates at present in two NATO-led crisis management operations, in KFOR (Kosovo Force) in Kosovo and ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) in Afghanistan.

Did John Kerry and Hillary Clinton actually go to Turkey to persuade the Turkish government to double-cross the US? I know that we were planning to invade Iraq from the north until the Turks at the last minute refused to let us use their territory, but I guess I thought it was someone else, maybe the French, who got them to change their minds.
I care a great deal about what information he leaked, or didn't leak. The media and the leftist administration has all but convicted this man, this one man, while simultaneously ignoring all but a few tidbits of the now-public information. I really think that we need to look at this very carefully, and we need to look at ALL of it.
If the information that he allegedly released causes harm to ordinary American citizens and military personnel, then I'm strongly against it. On the other hand, if the information unveils illegal, unethical, or immoral activity by politicians or other government officials, then I'm in favor of its public release.
I don't know what all has been released, and I'll likely never find out. But I do know that a couple of things I've heard show that this may, in fact, be positive things. Vindicating Bush on the war in Iraq is a positive thing. Uncovering unethical behavior to forward the myth of global warming is another positive thing.
If what's been released puts a few dozen political thugs behind bars, then I'm all in favor of it.
Given who's screaming the loudest about these leaks, I'd venture to say that there's some very useful stuff in these files.
My thoughts exactly. The pictures are horrific. My speculation is the Saddam gas stockpile was either relocated or destroyed to embarrass the US President (back when we had one).
Obama is now endangering the region and the world by letting Iran go nuclear. Gas is horrible. Nukes are the endgame. I fear the Obama legacy will be the thousands or millions of people that will likely perish due to his ineptitude.
My son’s unit, the 299th Army (Reserve) Engineers, MRB, OIF, seized caches of Iraqi arms and equipment on the eastern side of the Euphrates River near Hindaya including one which contained brand new chemical warfare suits (green). This occurred after April 3rd (2003) when they and the 54th Ordnance Engineers seized the main concrete bridge at Hindaya which enabled M1 Abrams tanks to drive on to Baghdad and end the formal war.
Enemy arms caches were marked for ordnance teams to deal with, either blowing them up or seizing the weapons.
What happened to these chemical suits is not known.
Saddam was prepared for anything and don’t let anyone tell you different.
Let nobody forget, that Saddam Hussein admitted shortly before he was hung to his death, that he intentionally distorted and did everything he could to make the rest of the world believe that he had weapons of mass destruction. This was a defense tactic of his.
No matter. The left isn’t going to change the way they think, act, regardless. These types would have defended Hitler and Stalin just as adamantly.
this info is nothing new to anyone that reads Worldnetdaily.

Relocated!
All of Sadam’s weapons were moved to the Bekaa valley in Lebanon during the first two days of the war. This was covered only by WND; no other news source would cover it.

Correction, attempting to keep the sexual perversions and capital crimes straight (pun intended).
Mine either.
I dont think Manning stole them himself. I think he had help.
