Well, there’s the other problem. I don’t know what I’d do with even 1 1/2 gallons per day. There’s just so much time in the day for making cheese, butter, ice cream, etc. on top of a regular job. Ho hum. I’ll keep thinking about it. :) Right now I’ve got a woman down the road that I can get milk from, so I don’t have a whole lot of incentive.

I grew up in Jupiter, by the way.

I don’t need that much either. It’s really easy when she has a calf. I just take what I need, and the calf takes the rest. I don’t have to milk her unless I need milk. However, the calf has been weaned and sold now. So, it’s just me until I get her pregnant again, or let her dry up.
