I knew you guys hated him, but not until I saw the results of this weekend’s Hot Air mega-poll did I realize how much. Out of 17 presidential candidates named, he finished … 15th, just eight votes ahead of Rick Santorum and 10 votes ahead of, er, Donald Trump. Palin won the poll with 1181 votes and Chris Christie came second with 745. Huckabee’s total take: 32. Dude?
The word on the primaries lately from everyone from Palin to Rove is that competition is wunderbar, that the more candidates we have battling for the nomination, the better served voters are by having more options, etc. Just wondering: Does that logic apply to Huck too? Think carefully before you answer, because if there’s anyone who’s poised to hurt Palin by peeling off social cons, blue-collar voters, and women (yes, really), it’s him.

When Sarah Palin was single handedly warning us about ObamaCare, Mitt and Huck were both MIA.
Mitt, at least, had the decency to remain MIA. Huck waltzed in and tried to take credit for Sarah's work.

I received the Romney phone call first and absolutely I told him I was sending money only to Palin. I wish I would have had a conversation with him, it sounded like he wanted to chat. I just hung up. Missed opportunity, dang

Palin is a real conservative. Huck is the Elmer Gantry of conservatives.
Huck--too compromising, too eager to please, too confused about the goodness of being a Christian vs. the responsibility of governing--(i.e. pardoning a murderer, giving illegals goodies)
As Christians we are supposed to forgive in our hearts--very different from pardoning a murderer when you are responsible for the people's welfare. As Christians we are supposed to help the poor, the widows and little children--as Christians! NOT as gov. opening the peoples coffers and handing out largesse to people who have broken our laws and are breaking our country.

Well said. She (Sarah) has leadership qualities, and the ability to find and appoint the right people. While she is true to her philosophy, Huck, Mitt, etc are not.
Every Huckabee thread gets the posting of his Christmas card. You don't like it, tough. You think it's small, tough again, for you.

There's already talk about the short (5'6") Governor Daniels standing in a debate next to 6'1'obama! And Governor Daniels isn't a wimp - he rides a Harley hog, FWIW.
Appearances do matter in politics. Anyone who would make that their OFFICIAL Christmas card would get eaten alive by the LSM, once the lamestream turned on him like they did their favored McCain.
Just look at the number of times Sarah Palin's photo of her in running shorts is used! It's year's old, but it's the cover of a magazine in the UK this week.

Even so, if Palin decides not to run and Mitt looks like a prohibitive frontrunner early, does anyone seriously think he won’t jump in? Social conservative votes will be there for the taking, and you know he’s just itching to vanquish that pointy-headed white-collar Romney who went to all the right schools ‘n stuff.

My wish list is that no one who ran last time on the GOP side runs next time.
