The Jester found encrypted Trojans throughout all of the WikiLeaks documents. Sounds like something out of a movie, but they are probably set to run if something takes place or doesn't take place, such as on XX date, if Assange doesn't enter a key on a website, then the Trojans run, dumping whatever file and/or doing whatever harm to computers they are on. Remember, Assange isn't a journalist or a site host, he is a pretty famous hacker who used to wreak havoc on the NSA.

If I’m Putin I have my people pop this guy, though not with Polonium or ricin. We get the blame and suffer the consequences of whatever is in these files. Vlad gets rid of an annoyance and complicates life for US policies. Assange can’t be too smart if this thought hasn’t occured to him.

The odds are that ALL of it was distributed around the world before the first piece was posted.

If he dies, all of it will likely start apearing unstoppably from points all across the globe - faster than it could be pulled down. Each time it went up, more people would archive it and it would begin to spread wildly by sneaker net.

This is likely why he is not dead now.

What will he release if he’s dead?

The AES private key to decrypt the file.

It's only 32 bytes, or 64 characters.

There are any number of ways to release it automatically, if there's no intervention every week (or day).
