You raise good points there. I’d suggest, though, that World War II was the last war “the West” (whatever that means) actually won because it was the last war we fought for the sole purpose of defeating an enemy. It seems that since then, all of our military campaigns (and by “our” I mean the U.S. in particular) have revolved around what might be called a quasi-colonial foreign policy — which means you can’t destroy an enemy if your ultimate purpose is to trade with them.

Islam, we were assured by no less a figure than George W. Bush, was "a religion of peace." Critical resources were invested in curtailing any "backlash" against American Muslims by the evil-minded white, Christian majority.

And thus was the genesis of how a subversive Cult went mainstream in America.

Nine years after 9/11, granny in her wheelchair gets "patted down" at airports, there's been a proliferation of Mosques built in Everytown, USA, and Muslims are conferred "Special Rights" and protections.

"Multiculturalism" has NOT hit hit any such wall yet, but is instead accelerating.
