‘pointless waste of a military career”
Is standing up for the Constitution a waste
Is standing up for the Republic a waste?
IS standing up for the Bill of Rights a waste?
I guess it depends on what you call a “waste”? ?
Lakin ain't gonna "plead" for squat. He is the 'Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death' type of man.
pointless waste of a military career
Pointless criticism of a hero who put his life on the line to try to defend the Constitution and the rule of law from the apathetic entropy of 21st century America and the testicle-free “Republicans” who should at least pretend to give a damn and help this 1-in-300-million patriot.

I’m sure the judge—or any other officer with a career in front of her—wants to keep a low profile and not be seen as helping anyone who questions the One.
But there’s very little difference between doing that and setting up opportunities to appeal, eventually to a civilian court or to SCOTUS. Refusing the chance to present even reasonable evidence is both a quick route to conviction and a chance to appeal later.
Of course there is no way of telling what her real motives may be. It would, of necessity, look pretty much the same either way.
You can "deny every motion", so long as the law is on your side. Lind, in this case, hasn't come close to making a reversible error. This is why Lakin's new (and quite competent) defense counsel has said that she's ruled correctly on the law when not allowing Lakin's affirmative defense.
Any greenhorn JAG, would have been able to tell Lakin that disobeying orders for the reasons he asserts, would be a one-way ticket to conviction at court-martial. I know, I was one of those greenhorn JAGs, almost 30-years ago. The rulings Lind has made, are about as plainly predictable as you can get. Unless she has some kind of nervous breakdown at trial, she's not getting vacated.
He can probably only go so far without being prosecuted himself in this marxist environment. I’m sure that he got his message across to this corrupt judge and those in the know, and you helped a lot by getting it to us. Thanks.
You’re operating in brilliant mode today, TC.
“... the day, the music, died.”
Most assuredly so.
If this is law, where oaths are toilet paper, then the law is nothing more than tyranny.
