The college students two men and a woman were likely targeted by the men because they were walking alone, said Bethlehem police Detective William Dosedlo.

Be on the lookout for two drunken steelworkers/s
Yes, I agree that carrying would save their lives if it came to that. However, most college students are below the legal carrying age of 21 so that'll get them thrown behind bars and end up being cell buddies with the very element they were trying to avoid. Most campuses will kick a student out if they possess weapons of any type. Yes, again, the school is putting a big target on their students' back. If they are kicked out, their future careers are down the toilet. Students are in Catch 22 land.
That 21 age limit is Unconstitutional.
People can serve in the Army at 18. Some kids go to college at 16. If one can prove they are responsible, they should be able to own a handgun.
There is no age limit in the 2nd Amendment....this is yet another infringement which people have sadly come to accept as law.
A few weeks ago some women were robbed at gun point going into the casino at Bethlehem.
Most universities have some kind of service that will offer to walk students to their apartments.
Probably only wanted the cell phones so that the victims couldn’t report it right away.
I refuse to ever visit that place because it is a GFZ.....that means no means of protection to and from the car.
Whatever happened to police saying "be on the lookout for...."
