Wait a minute, there are some provisions in the Health care Reform bill which are good. For example my college age kids are automatically covered on my policy until age 26. They can not afford policies of their own while full time students in college.
Your kids are full time students with no income through age 26? They can’t work to get enough income to support themselves 8 years into adulthood? I was on my parents plan though existing rules until I was out of undergrad and then I was on my own. At 24, any adult should be able to fend for themselves. With few health issues at that age an annual checkup and a cheap catastrophic policy is sufficient.
You don’t sound very conservative to me. Are you sure you signed up at the right forum 7 months ago? I don’t know how all the millions upon millions of US college graduates from decades past managed to survive without being on mommy and daddy’s insurance. /s
Most colleges offer college insurance from what my niece told me over Thanksgiving. She had it at Univ of Nebraska. If so then folks don’t need to keep their kids on a policy til age 26.
Then pass them separately. zot

Oh, please... Why should WE taxpayers pick up the bill for YOUR kids’ medical?
