Former president Jimmy Carter lied in an interview with NPR talk-show host Diane Rehm on Tuesday. She ended the interview by asking about the Tea Party and he claimed he had never criticized them -- despite smearing them as racists in 2009 in an NBC interview with Brian Williams:

This guy is a creep and a liar and an enemy of Israel. Makes me sick.
Oh, and Dianne Rehm is a POS, too. I kind of liked listening to her show until I heard her interview the gracious Mrs. Cheney. I think she was promoting her book about growing up in Wyoming. Rehm was incredibly rude. It was quite astounding. I've never bothered listening to Rehm’s left wing crap since.
I am almost ashamed to admit that I am distantly related to Eleanor Rosalynn Smith.
Luckily it is VERY distant...
When Jimmy Carter finally dies, there should be no state funeral or day of mourning. He is a hateful, vulgar man who should never have been in the WH. Kind of reminds me of the squatter currently camped out there.
May they both rot in hell.
I wouldn't consider Watergate a "minor event".
About 65 people were convicted of felonies. I'm thankful that the judge who sentenced the Cuban burglars wasn't lenient with them. Otherwise, the whole conspiracy would have gone undiscovered. I can't even imagine what crimes remain hidden due to the 18 minute gap on one of Nixon's tapes.
I don't condone Clinton's conspiracy to obstruct justice and I don't condone Nixon's conspiracy to obstruct justice.
Consider what a minor event the Watergate break-in was, compared to the Wikileaks travesty
So true.
Jimmy and Barry are planning to co-author a book entitled, “It’s Hard To Be Humble When You’re So Great.”
The only sticking point is who will get top billing.

That will certainly never go to the presses.
They’ll be fighting over that top billing until they die.
Then their estates will argue until hell freezes over, pigs
fly, and the manuscript crumbles to dust.
Then they’ll blame the Republicans.
