Meghan McCain: Sarah Palin must be anti-education because she uses common phrases I don't understand
Ace of Spades flags this revealing passage in Meghan McCain's latest column which is -- surprise! -- another attack on Sarah Palin. Anyway, remember how Sarah Palin called the Bush family "blue bloods" after they tacitly endorsed Romney? Well, here's what Meghan McCain had to say about that:
The reference to "blue bloods" was made after former President George H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara said in an interview that they thought Mitt Romney was essentially the man to watch in 2012, followed by an extra zinger from the notorious straight talking former first lady Barbara Bush who said she thinks "Sarah Palin should stay in Alaska." Sarah Palin responded on the Laura Ingraham radio show saying "of course they think that, the Bush's are blue bloods."
I actually had to Google what the meaning of "blue bloods" was, although I could surmise that it was some kind of knock against education and coming from a family of some success.
Meghan McCain, posessor of an Ivy-League degree, had to Google this extremely common phrase? And then she uses this as an excuse to knock Sarah Palin for being against education or something?

~ROFLOL~............
guess nobody ever told the cow it's better to be thought a fool in silence, than to open yer trap and remove all doubt...
And these are her good points.
Megan has an inferiority complex. I didn’t realize how big it was until a couple of weeks ago, while waiting for my car to be serviced, I read her interview in People Magazine. It was a good read if only to get some good insight into Ms. McCain.
Actually, the most suitable example is not Davy Crockett, but Andrew Jackson. And Palin WILL do precisely what Jackson did. Run for President against the wishes and opposition of the elites, win in a landslide, and then kick them into the ash heap of history.
OH GAWD!!...Megan’s is gonna have to google âBakers Dozenâ now to get the right answer!!!
When Megan McCain opens her mouth, stupid falls out.
A ding bat that doesn’t understand common phrases calls others dumb?
“....the Bush’s are blue bloods.”
Meghan, how did you ever graduate from and Ivy League school with a sentence like this? All of us with less-expensive college educations know that your grammar is incorrect. It should say: “ the Bushes are blue bloods.” (Bush is a single item. To change it to a group of items you need to add “s” or, in this case, “es” to the single word to make it plural.) What’s worse is that her boss didn’t even catch this simple error.
It is amazing how many people make these mistakes as adults considering this stuff is taught to THIRD GRADERS.
Agreed.
