Fools like to compare Palin to Reagan, but they compare Palin at 46 to Reagan after his entire career.

When Reagan was 46 (1957), he was still hosting General Electric Theater, and he was still a Democrat (though he had twice endorsed Eisenhower). He had never been elected to public office (1966), had not yet given his great speech for Goldwater (1964).

Reagan was a great man, but it took most of his life for his greatness to develop. Palin is well on her way to becoming great in her own right. Her ultimate achievements remain to be seen.

Of course the pissants of this world will continue to do everything they can to demean her and block her progress.

In 1957 Reagan was able write and give a speech like his Eureka College Commencement Address

Give that a read, FRiend.

Sarah Palin can't hold a candle to that sort of eloquence and depth.
