I vote for the most conservative and wise candidate. Period. Hunter was it last time, hands down. Yet the stupid party decided RINO McCain was "viable". Remind me again how that worked out.....

Yeah, a guy who never won a statewide election is viable.

But seeing how you support a guy with the charisma of a rutabega, I can see why you fail to see why such a quality matters in running for more than a safe House seat.

Well, Hunter won in a predominantly Dem district in 1980. He got zero support from the GOP. He sold his house to run and beat long time powerful incumbent Lionel Van Deerlin. It wasn’t until redistricting in the 1990s that it became a ‘safe seat’ for the GOP.

As for the charisma of a rutebega, I guess having a deep command of the issues, a stinging wit, concise and quick answers that make sense, and a baritone voice is chopped liver next to a screechy, high pitched voice who butchers the english language and can’t handle Charlie Gibson and can’t beat Slow Joe Biden in a debate.
