The US has signed treaties and friendship agreements with more tyrants than can be imagined. It happens all the time as a matter of course and politics at its worst. Should this change? Yes I think so. Should the US stop paving the way for corporations to spread their tentacles everywhere esp when those tentacles are amoral? I think so. But don’t go pointing any fingers unless you clean up here first.
Russia has been taking care of their islamic fundie problem far better and for far longer than we have. we need to learn from them and ally ourselves with them.
