Co-host team for political show would work if: (1) both quite strongly hold opposite views, e.g., Hanity & Colmes, or (2) both hold similar views, e.g., all liberal talk-shows in ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. It won’t work if one holds strong view, the other holds kind of opposite view but very mushy (aka ‘moderate’). The one holding strong view would always be the dominant one.

We suspected with Parker’s Palin-bashing that it was all about getting attention for her. This confirms what she is all about. She is just like the women Spitzer used to pay for - she just sells herself for a different objective and a different currency - a journalistic prostitute, driven by the need to get a fix for her ego.

What sane woman would want to sit next to this goblin five nights a week, no matter how much the pay is? Regardless the show will be cancelled within two months - a test pattern would draw just as many viewers and is a lot cheaper to produce.

Strengths? Ailing compared to what? It started out in the toilet on a network that fights for 3rd place.

Parker is a nobody, but evidently has a huge ego. Without Spitzer Parker would have even less of an audience. Of course, it is hilarious that this show was put on the air at all. I can’t imagine that it will survive much longer, but it has been instructive in that it makes clear what poor judgment the media left has.

I read her columns every now and then and they suck. I don’t know why her on-air persona would be a big improvement.
